How does it work?
Invisalign treatment varies from patient to patient according to the extent of misalignment that they are suffering from. The series of clear aligners Macleod are individually manufactured to fit your teeth with accuracy and precision. Each aligner in the series is worn for approximately two weeks at a time. The aligner is shaped to help push your teeth into a neater formation and will need to be worn in the mouth for around 22 hours of the day, until you move onto the next aligner in the series. If you have minor misalignment issues or you are realigning your teeth as an adult after having undergone orthodontic treatment when you were younger, then you can expect to complete the course in as little as three months.
If you suffer from more significant misalignment issues of the teeth then the treatment may take between 12 to 18 months to be completed. During this time you will undergo regular check-ups at our dental practice and we will make sure that the process is coming along successfully, helping you with any queries you may have or any issues that you may face during this time.
